Patrick Fabricating & Welding Enterprises, Inc. (Patrick Fab) was formed in 1994, in the backyard of President Cedric "Rick" Bridges after a corporate acquisition forced the closing of the manufacturing facility he was supervising. Since that time the company has flourished into a 30 acre fabrication yard with 80,000 sf of covered shop space, including fabrication shops, paint and blasting building, shipping/receiving tool room and a separate machine shop.
The company's continued growth is a result of dedication to diversify into different fields yet remain conscious of each industry's specific needs. This diligence has driven Patrick Fabricating & Welding into a significant crane manufacturer and provider of equipment to the oilfield, power generation, refining, petro-chemical, pulp & paper and marine industries.
Patrick Fab is authorized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors to provide fabrications meeting the requirements of their applicable codes. Patrick Fab also provides pressure equipment and crane manufacturing surveyed by various certifying authorities including: Lloyd's Register, American Bureau of Shipping, Det Nortske Veritas and Bureau Veritas. These fabrications have been installed in plants and offshore structures in many locations across the globe
A requisite for a successful project is a staff knowledgeable of the applicable codes, standards and specifications. Recognizing this, Patrick Fabricating & Welding libraries many industry standards from organizations including:
- ASME—Standard Specifications, B16 & B31 Series
- NBIC—National Board Inspection Code
